SEMI M12/M13-1103 standard specifies the shapes and dimensions of 26 alpha characters, 10 numeral characters, dash and period and SEMI font.
The specification was approved by Global Traceability Committee and North American Traceability Committee.
Barcodesoft SEMI font is designed in full compliance with SEMI M12, SEMI M13, SEMI T5, SEMI AUX015 standard.
With Barcodesoft SEMI font, a Windows computer and a laser scriber, you can mark on semiconductor wafers as if you are "printing" on them.

If you download Barcodesoft SEMI font demo and install on your computer, you will find a Windows application SEMIChecksum. This application is useful when you need to calculate a checksum for either the SEMI M12 or the SEMI M13 standard.
To use it, execute the following command in your shell prompt:
SEMIChecksum -s m12|m13 -t SEMI-string
Remember, the M12 standard needs a 10-character string, and the M13 standard requires a 16-character string.
Some characters in the demo SEMI font have "Demo" watermarks.
